How much say do you get in the way the tour is run and when big decisions are made?
The management board is made up of 7 people. 4 riders and 3 industry representatives. In that way I have 1/7 of a say in big decisions. However in reality, nearly all the decisions end up being pretty unanimous.
We discuss any ideas, the pluses and negatives and come to a conclusion that everyone is happy with. I am not sure it’s always the most efficient system, but it does keep everyone’s best interests at heart and I think the PWA is doing really well, especially considering the current economic climate.
