On my Fanatic 86 Litre TriWave with the new 5.6 Avanti Phoenix sail, I wasn’t really floating and my weight didn’t help the situation either. Usually it pays off to have a plan for when the shit hits the fan, A.K.A “Plan B”. So, patiently waiting for the last wave of the set, I swam out with the current in between the sets, waterstarted and floated out past “Lopes Ledge” right behind the break.
