JAKE’S – ONE OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA’S BEST POINT BREAKS

Sometimes I was actually quite close to stacking it but just managed to pull it back. For sure it would have been a lot easier if the surfers weren’t there. My last wave connected all the way from the outside through Lope’s Ledge, a near 300-metre ride and, when the wind ran out, I had made it far enough so that I could easily swim the last few meters in. Happily I did not have to resort to sailing all the way back to the river mouth in town.
