This trip to Lewis took me a little bit longer than normal and involved a few more logistics to plan than usual. I was actually in Maui when I saw the charts looking pretty good for Lewis, a big WNW swell with perfect WSW winds – that’s pretty much as good as it gets for this part of the Hebrides – but I was on the other side of the world!
