During those sessions with Kai and JB Caste as well as all the locals, transplants, tourists and team Portugal who were visiting, it was so refreshing to personally be at a point where there was a 100% common factor amongst everybody that it was all about the waves. Albeit, the morning and evening sessions were pretty much “solo” missions by us 3 musketeers, in between , we got to witness rides such as Victoria Abott putting most of the boys in their place with her now renowned charging of Cape Verdian waves, staying as deep as anybody and connecting some major bombs all the way through.
